The Setting

Concrete and Light

A house above the city, where everything has its place.

A low build of exposed concrete and glass, set into the slope of the Hollywood Hills, the lights of Los Angeles below. Inside: polished concrete, pale oak, warm light behind floor-to-ceiling glass, a courtyard and pool that the house wraps around like an arm.

The rooms tell you who holds sway here — the private wings to the west, the offices to the east, and between them the open center where the family gathers. Family and company share the same corridors; no one who lives here ever fully leaves work behind.

It's a beautiful house. It's very quiet.

A study at dusk, screens and a wall of books in warm lamplight
A quiet room at blue hour, fairy lights and a view across the city
A bedroom in the estate, muted light and soft colours
